Whether you’re BREAKING into cybersecurity or rebranding yourself, understanding the importance of training, mentoring, and soft skills is vital to your overall career success in the cybersecurity industry. Connie will take the group through setting and navigating your career goals and what to consider as you get started, maintain your skills, or move to the next level or a new role.
You don't have to be an ethical hacker to be part of this thriving global industry! In this session we'll explore the various segments of the industry and how you can "break-in" by rebranding your experience for each domain.

Cyber Education – Code Ninjas owners Vivek and Anjali Dighe
Vivek and Anjali will talk about the importance of training our future workforce and challenges they face in receiving adequate cybersecurity education and projects such as developing capture-the-flag.
Connie is the Founder and CEO of ReynCon, an educational services and training company that brings its clients a trusted team of professionals with hands-on experience and field-tested expertise with in-depth knowledge of industry best practices in cybersecurity. Her specialties include cybersecurity, training and education, strategic vision, and coaching. She also serves as a special advisor to the Central Ohio Chapter of ISSA and leads volunteer work in the cybersecurity field.
Ms. Dighe is a co-owner of Code Ninjas Charlotte comprised of Code Ninjas Concord, Code Ninjas Ballantyne, and soon to come Code Ninjas Myers Park. Code Ninjas provides students, ages 7 - 14, a unique resource to enhance problem solving, critical thinking, mathematical, and logic skills while having fun creating and building games while learning how to code. In addition, she is a Managing Partner of Relentless Group, a consulting firm focused on strategic growth and leadership development for small to medium sized businesses. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina State University, is a graduate of the Voyagers Program Class of ’14 through ACT-IAC, the Leadership Fairfax Class of ’10, The Emerging Leaders Institute Class of ’03, and the Georgetown International Executive MBA Program Class of ’98. She is Co-Director of the Women in Homeland Security’s STEM Committee, sits on the Board of Fleurix, and is a Non-Trustee Committee Member at Cannon School.
Vivek Dighe brings over 20 years of leading business and product strategy, and sales and business development across a multitude of technologies and business sizes. He is a co-owner of Code Ninjas Charlotte comprised of Code Ninjas Concord, Code Ninjas Ballantyne, and soon to come Code Ninjas Myers Park and a Managing Partner of Relentless Group. He has led business development and capture teams within public safety, federal civilian, international and commercial market segments. He led the capture of the FirstNet JerseyNet BTOP program by developing winning teaming and pricing strategies. In addition, he developed business development strategies and capture plans to penetrate new markets for corporate growth. He led the product management team at Kodiak Networks, a push to talk application provider to mobile carriers and managed an architecture and strategy team at Nextel. Mr. Dighe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a Concentration in Mathematics. He is a member of Charlotte Chapter – North Carolina InfraGard and is on the Board of the Academy of Information Technology (AoIT) at Cox Mill High School.
