JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Consultant, Technology Services is responsible for post-sales product and service implementation. This technical position installs, tests, and evaluates newly purchased equipment and software. Technology Services Consultants are responsible for completing project implementation schedules on-time and for ensuring final customer satisfaction. They are also responsible for meeting consulting billing objectives.
• Conduct or lead any engagement within focus area
• Gain a detailed technical knowledge of Accuvant’s partner products and the technologies within focus area
• Be able to look at the big picture and see how the technical solution fits in or affects the client’s business
• Look beyond just how to make the product work; look at how it affects the client’s other operations and systems and consult with them on the best overall approach
• Establish & maintain rapport with client technical staff
• Provide accurate, complete and timely written documentation for all project deliverables including the technical issues and their associated business impacts
• Escalate engagement and client related issues, where appropriate, to focus area lead
• Identify & recommend improvements in Accuvant’s methodology and internal processes
• Thought leadership in the security space
• Perform research and develop whitepapers/presentations/etc. regarding relevant security topics, tools and techniques
• Providing support for client interaction including: On/Off-site proposal reviews

Responsibilities:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expertise with one or more of our core Technology Areas: Network and Infrastructure, Wireless, Content Protection (DLP, Encryption, Access Control), Endpoint Security, Perimeter Security, SIEM and Logging - typically obtained in 5-7 years.
• Thorough understanding of large scale environments
• Strong presentation and verbal communication skills Process oriented individual with strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Excellent, detailed writing skills
• Expert knowledge of using Microsoft Office
• Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas
• Well-developed negotiation skills.
• Ability to build consensus.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
• Must Have:
o Valid Driver’s License
o Ability to travel 65 percent of the time and on short notice
o Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week as needed
o Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
o High School Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications:
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree, A.S. or higher Certifications with one or more of our core Technology Services partners
• Strong relationships with security experts within the region
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance: GLBA, SOX, PCI, HIPPA and Assessment Services a plus
• CISSP or other professional certifications
